District 10 Free Flight Envoy

I started flying R/C in 1976 when I was 11. I started with sport planes, and transitioned into pattern flying although I was really more of a hotdog type of pilot.

I started flying ducted fan Jets around 1982, turbine engine powered Jets entered my fleet 1997.

During my 35 years of flying I have been to many different states attending flying meets, and have made friendships with many people from all over the world. The personal relationships that you build make R/C a great hobby.

It is an honor to be appointed Associate Vice President for District 10, I will do my best to promote our hobby. Currently I’m a turbine waiver holder, as well as a Contest director.

Professionally, I’m an IT Manager of several medical outpatient clinics and imaging centers, I have been working in the IT field since 1991.

I also have a commercial pilot’s license. I have had a couple of unusual R/C jobs; Magnum PI TV show for one episode that had R/C airplanes, and one of the more interesting ones. Experimental bird chasing with R/C airplanes (Scarecrow R/C).
